Rousseau designed this very shoe —an open-toe pump with a gorgeous glittery mesh fabric that will sell starting March 7th, 2013 exclusively on shoescribe.com. “I wanted to design a shoe that captured the flamboyant and whimsical nature of Oz The Great and Powerful,” said Jerome of his first thoughts for the style. “I spontaneously gravitated towards the vibrant color palette and the geometrical elements in the set design.  I was also inspired by elements of the costumes which led me to use the glittery mesh fabric combined with the gold leather spiral,” he added.
