Over 600 guests enjoyed Steppenwolf Theatre’s annual gala on May 14th, raising $1.3 million for Steppenwolf’s artistic, educational and community programming. Guests kicked off the celebration at Steppenwolf’s Front Bar: Coffee and Drinks and 1700 Theatre, before moving to their immaculately decorated tent just north of their theater. Before heading to cocktails and a gourmet dinner, patrons enjoyed a tribute featuring actor John C. Reilly (The Grapes of Wrath and A Streetcar Named Desire). The night had a picture-perfect ending with a performance by Gary Sinise and his Lt. Dan Band—with a packed dance floor. Cheers to another 40 years!
