Steppenwolf’s annual gala is one we make sure is checked off our society list year after year. This year, over 550 business and civic leaders in Chicago were treated to an exclusive showing of scenes from their production of “The Herd”, in the Downstairs Theatre (1650 N. Halsted), before heading to an exclusive tent that mimicked a modern English garden of the suburban London setting of the production. Guests enjoyed cocktails, a gourmet dinner and a live auction featuring experiences with Steppenwolf cast members. As the evening went on—guests enjoyed one of our favorite treats—a performance by Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band and a late night DJ set.
