It’s our last ditch effort to celebrate summer and we plan on enjoying in style. In keeping with the simplicity of summer, we’re bringing you deliciously easy recipes featuring SPARKLING ICE and VOGA Italia Wine for your Labor Day specialty cocktails. Enjoy!
BLOOD ORANGE SPRITZER
Ingredients
- 3 oz. VOGA Pinot Grigio
- 2 oz. Campari
- 1 blood orange
Directions
- Squeeze ½ blood orange into wine glass.
- Pour VOGA Pinot Grigio and top with Campari.
- Garnish with blood orange slices.
GRAPEFRUIT JALAPENO MARTINI
Ingredients
- 3 oz. Grapefruit Sparkling ICE
- 1 ½ oz. vodka
- 1 oz. lime juice
- Lime wedge
- Sliced fresh jalapeño
- Chili salt for rim of glass (Kosher salt mixed with chili powder)
Directions
- Use a lime wedge to rub the entire rim of a chilled martini glass, and dip into chili salt mixture.
- Combine vodka and jalapeno slices with ice in a shaker.
- Strain and pour into the chilled martini glass.
- Top with Grapefruit Sparkling ICE.
- Garnish with a few Jalapeno slices.
SPARKLING CUCUMBER LEMONADE CHILLER
Ingredients
- 4 oz. Lemonade Sparkling ICE
- 1 ½ oz. vodka
- Cucumber and lemon slices
Directions
- Muddle a few cucumber sliced with vodka. Strain and pour into a tall chilled glass over ice.
- Top with Lemonade Sparkling ICE.
- Garnish with lemon and cucumber slices.
VOGA’S SUMMER SANGRIA
Ingredients
- 1 Bottle of VOGA Italia Moscato Wine
- 12 oz passion fruit nectar or juice
3 oz. Triple Sec - 2 sliced peaches
- 2 sliced apricots
- 1 cup diced mangos
- 1 sliced Gala apple
- ½ lb green seedless grapes, halved
- 3 tbsp finely chopped mint
- 3 tbsp finely chopped dill
- 1/2 liter club soda
Directions
- Pour wine, apples, peaches and mango in a pitcher or bowl.
- Add triple sec and stir gently. Stir in the passion fruit juice or nectars, add the grapes, mint and dill and cover and refrigerate 2-24 hours.
- Before serving, top with club soda, stir gently and serve over ice with dill sprigs as a garnish.
STRAWBERRY BASIL LEMONADE
Ingredients
- 3 oz. Strawberry Lemonade Sparkling ICE
- 1 oz. white rum
- Basil leaves
Directions
- Muddle basil leaves with rum.
- Strain and pour over ice.
- Top with Strawberry Lemonade Sparkling ICE.
- Garnish with fresh strawberries and basil leaves.
