Around 350 guests made their way to the Schweppe Estate in Lake Forest to help NS Magazine celebrate one year, along with their fall issue release featuring cover girl (and North Shore resident) Kristin Cavallari. As soon as we pulled up, we were greeted by a sprawling mansion (could be yours for $12 million) with the latest Bentley’s parked right up front. Once inside, we enjoyed delicious samplings from Mirani’s of Winnetka, Bobby’s of Deerfield, Shakou Sushi of Libertyville, Bistro Bordeaux of Evanston and Di Pescara of Northbrook, which rounded out some of the best restaurants from the North Shore for the delectable menu. Moet Hennesy and Laguintas Brewery kept our glasses filled, as we toured the estate room by room. We found ourselves smitten with the library, thanks to plush sofas courtesy of Walter E. Smithe and perfectly aged Glenmorangie Whiskey. Gold Coast Allstars and Steinway & Sons kept guests entertained throughout the night while Ford Models rubbed elbows with North Shore’s finest wearing beautiful jewels from Cy Fredrics.
