Lena Dunham, writer, creator and actress of the HBO series Girls added new author to her impressive résumé with her new book, Not that Kind of Girl: A Young Woman Tells You What She’s “Learned”. On October 6th, a sold out audience got to experience her brilliance, and laugh-out-loud personality at the start of the Chicago Humanities Festival at the Thorne Auditorium at Northwestern University’s School of Law, as she read exerts from her book—and after guests got to listen in on a casual conversation between her and Girls Executive Producer Jenni Konner.
