Who doesn’t love a night with your best girlfriends? We recently teamed up with Sauza to plan the ultimate Girls Night In! The task: trying their latest launch of the Sauza Sparkling Margarita in the comfort of our own home. Coming in three flavors like Original Lime, Mango Peach and Wild Berry, we love how easy this drink is to serve.

First things first in planning our night in was coming up with the menu. On a health kick lately, I’m planning on serving some yummy shrimp and fish tacos with fresh kale and cilantro (both from our garden!), avocado and tomatoes, topped off with a mild salsa. On the side, we’d have salsa and chips and cheese quesadillas.

I knew immediately where I would host my girls night in: in our back yard paradise. My husband is becoming quite the DIYer since we’ve moved to our  California-style Craftsman Bungalow and built a pergola and deck out back last summer. It’s where I also escape the hustle and bustle of city life in Chicago and the perfect spot to host my “girls night in” party.

Now getting to the most important part –the drink. I opted to go with the Original Lime for my girls night in. I rimmed my light blue glasses with sea salt (and some raw cane sugar) and poured the Sauza Sparkling Margarita over ice and we were ready to serve. It was light and so refreshing and went with my tacos perfectly! My favorite part is that you simply just pour and drink. There’s no mixing or complicated recipes, which is great when you just want to delve into the gossip and girl time.
