A few weeks back we discussed how to wear lace for spring 2013 and with the sheer trend, the same rules apply. Sheer can be chic, but remember to keep it subtle. If overdone, it can just look wrong. I took my inspiration from street-style, the runways and just plain stylish gals. We partnered with Target to keep the trend on budget. Here’s what we love.
Simply Sheer
You can’t go wrong with a simple dress with subtle sheer accents in a color like light grey (or Molten Lead). In fact, we liked all of the colors but there’s something about the neutral grey that makes it look more expensive. We’re definitely snagging this little number.

Sheer Basics
Want to “glam up” your after school pick up at the bus stop? We suggest grabbing this sheer-laced tee and your favorite pair of slim-cut jeans.

Sheer Accessories
Want to add a little spunk to your wardrobe? Believe it or not, you can do that with sheer, or at least with the geometric scarf we found in blue/green. Pair it with your favorite basic tee and jeans, a cool blazer and this scarf and you’ve got yourself the perfect preppy look.

It’s Time for Springtime. Target has everything you need to pull off the sheer trend this spring.
