They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend. Well, thanks to Sureena Taparia, they have gotten even friendlier. Sureena has figured out a way to supply fine jewelry to consumers at a fraction of the price. She launched Fifth Bond, an online fine jewelry store in June 2012. By cutting out the middle man and working directly with manufacturers and designers, Fifth Bond is able to keep their prices low. This means that fine jewelry is no longer reserved for the wealthy. The average woman can now afford to buy that bracelet she knows she deserves or that ring, just because her finger needs some sparkle. In addition to all the beautiful jewels offered on the site, Fifth Bond has a concierge service that allows the customer to customize their own piece of jewelry. With selections of earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings at prices from $100-$3,000, Fifth Bond has made fine jewelry accessible to everyone. Every woman deserves to be treated like a queen. Now, with Fifth Bond, they can dress like one, too. -Julienne Thomas-Ramos
