Calling All Marathon Runners! Get Your Mind & Body Ready At Equinox!

What: Run your best marathon yet by preparing with Equinox. The luxury fitness club will be hosting a special class in advance of the Chicago marathon which will be held this coming Sunday, October 9th. The 60 minute class features a runner’s reset and guided meditation to reset, restore and recover before the marathon.
Why: Improve your run with tools and techniques used by elite athletes and lifelong runners. The class includes myofascial routines, athletic stretching, breath and mindset activities for the ultimate pre-race combination routine. Afterwards, get your mind right with 30 minutes of guided meditation. Stick around for healthy refreshments and light bites. The class is open to the public for members running in the marathon plus a guest (preferably a running partner).
CLASS DATES INCLUDE:
* 10/6 – Highland Park @ 5:30PM
* 10/7 – Gold Coast @ 6:15AM
* 10/7 – Lincoln Park @ 6:00PM
* 10/8 – The Loop @ 12:00PM
Marathon Day
On race day (Sunday, October 9th), Equinox staff will participate in a Cheer Zone with customized cheer cards and host a Regeneration Station at Park Grill (11 N Michigan Ave) from 10am – 3pm. Equinox will be on-site for a regeneration rescue including a spa team and personal trainers waiting with massage chairs and tables, trigger point balls, foam rollers and NormaTc compression boots. The Regeneration Station is open to all runners.
