WHAT: Birchbox, a leading beauty and grooming retailer, is bringing an offline shopping experience to three U.S. cities, and Chicago is among the three customer-chosen cities along the road trip route. Birchbox has transformed two shipping containers, one for women, one for men, into full-service beauty and grooming shops featuring a Build Your Own Birchbox area, subscription offers, as well as free beauty and grooming services. During the three-day set-up, Chicagoans can shop a curated assortment of top-rated, full-size products across skincare, hair, makeup, body, fragrance and grooming categories, with a focus on summer essentials. The weekend will also feature a meet-and-greet with the EMPIRE cast for photos and autographs on Saturday, August 15 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., a live DJ on Saturday afternoon, and complimentary nail services and astrology readings from Enamel Diction.

Birchbox will roll into Chicago Friday, August 14^th to Sunday, August 16^th. Following the road trip, Birchbox will open two permanent stores in 2016, including the first dedicated Birchbox Man store. The selected locations of these upcoming stores will be influenced by the performance of the road trip shops in each city.
