Joffrey Ballet's Couture & Cocktails Hosted Their Fourth Annual Event at the Palmer House Hilton

On September 25th, The Women’s Board, along with Couture & Cocktails founders Candace Jordan and Helen Melchior hosted their fourth annual event. The night was stacked with wonderful entertainment, fabulous food, and local celebs. At the start of the night, guests had the chance to mingle with Pamella and internationally renowned DJ Donna D’Cruz. As the night continued, guests sipped on cocktails and tasted gourmet hors d’oeuvres and could bid on the silent auction at the same time. Pamella Roland later showed her most recent Spring 2010 collection, which was then followed by a live auction. To cap off the night, DJ Donna D’Cruz got the Joffrey’s dancers and guests onto the dance floor in the Red Lacquer Room.  This event kicked off The Joffrey Ballet’s 2009-10 Season. Couture & Cocktails raised just over $250,000, a vast increase from last year’s $150,000 total.  A special appearance was made by Chicago VIP’s Giuliana and Bill Rancic. -Tracey Johnsen
