Renowned designer Karl Lagerfeld has decided to expand his global personality into more of a global business.
In the upcoming Paris Couture Week this January, Lagerfeld will be releasing his new rock inspired women’s line. The line consists of over a hundred pieces and has aimed at an affordable $95-450 price point. In addition to his new line, the designer is also opening pop-up shops and flagship boutiques in major fashion cities. In the words of new president, Piere Paolo Righi, “We also think there is a big opportunity to drive the business with strategic alliances and partnerships.” This will include not only a new global web-market but upcoming partnerships with designers and department stores. The new collections coming up are an ageless mix of street and chic, with a lot of room for mixing and matching multiple pieces. These will be available in the next few months at www.karllagerfeld.com.
