At the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards, it was a night filled with fashion, dedicated to the creative geniuses that keep it moving forward.
Celebrities and supermodels alike showed just how deserving this year’s winners were at the CFDAs. In the category for womenswear designers of the year, both Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough of Proenza Schouler were recognized. Liv Tyler wore a gorgeous print dress from Proenza Schouler’s fall 2011 collection, showcasing the designers impeccable vision. Prabal Gurung took home the Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent which could not be more evident by his stunning red gown worn to the event by Alessandra Ambrosio. The fashion icon of the year, Lady Gaga, paired an elegant black creation by Thierry Mugler with a sea green bob to make the gown pop.
