Agga B. [curator]

Chicago’s own fashion designer Agga B. has been surrounded by art her entire life, attending several gallery openings throughout Europe since childhood. For the past year, she has added curator to her resume by putting on several art shows for the Toyota Creative Lounge. In her fashion collection, Agga B. creates many intriguing looks that work with contrasting pieces. She uses dark and mysterious against subtle and light, which is inspired by earth, anatomy, science, and history. When asked how art and fashion is similar, she says, "It’s actually equally exciting and very similar this whole thing – design, styling, and curating an art exhibit. You have to have sensitivity to other people and look to style and trends to find inspiration." - Brittany Berryman
