Belvedere’s new Bloody Mary Vodka

Belvedere Vodka premiered the latest addition to its popular line of macerations – Bloody Mary Vodka, in Chicago recently. Held at Mercat a la Planxa in the Blackstone hotel, the private brunch was hosted by Bon Appetit Magazine and Belvedere spokesperson Chelsea Handler. Amongst the turnout were famous faces such as celebrity chef duo Yvonne and Bill Kim from Urban Belly. Created as a tribute to brunch, the Bloody Mary Vodka is the brainchild of Claire Smith, Belvedere’s Master mixologist and Head Spirit Creator. The clear liquid is made with 100% natural and additive-free ingredients (tomatoes, black pepper, bell and chili peppers, lemon, horseradish and vinegar) to ensure maximum flavor. As the first vodka made specifically to a drink, Belvedere’s Bloody Mary marks a step forward for the brand’s maceration process. Previous macerations have focused primarily on citrus fruits. Simply add tomato juice and a squeeze of lemon and your Bloody Mary is good to go. Available in 750 ml bottles, the drink will retail for $29.99 at all fine wine and spirits retailers nationwide.
